Bethanie Tucker, Ed.D. of North Carolina has been a professional educator since 1972. She served in a number of critical teaching and program leadership roles at the elementary school level and is currently a professor of education at Averett University in Danville, Virginia. She is an experienced consultant and author for aha! Process, a Ruby Payne company. This session will provide a brief introduction of techniques for teaching students how their brain works, how to recognize emotional triggers, and how to calm themselves down.
