Behavioral Safety Assessment

The Behavioral Safety Assessment (BSA), previously known as a Threat Assessment, aims to identify potential situations that could lead to violence, evaluate the severity of associated risks, and develop safety measures and supervisory strategies to mitigate these risks.

During this comprehensive 4-hour training session on the Salem-Keizer Cascade Behavioral Safety Assessment tool, participants will:

• Explore the fundamental principles of BSA

• Take an in-depth look at the Level 1 process

• Receive an introductory overview of the Level 2 process

Who should attend? Any Level 1 Team members who have not completed the Salem-Keizer training or those seeking a refresher.

ASIST Suicide Prevention and Response Training

ASIST is a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated suicide intervention training that reflects current best-practice in suicide intervention. ASIST is the result of more than 25 years of research and development and is the most widely used suicide intervention program in the world. This is a two-day, 15-hour, interactive workshop. Learn how to recognize opportunities to help, assess risk of suicide, apply a suicide intervention model, and practice skills.
