Planning Your Next Steps with AI: Hands-On Practice and Classroom Ready Strategies (April 3, 2026, 9:30AM Mtn)**
This three hour interactive session gives educators dedicated time to apply key ideas about AI in education while preparing for practical implementation. The session spotlights what is new in the AI space and offers strategies teachers can use right away. Participants will move through guided, hands-on practice with AI tools, design classroom-ready resources, and map out next steps that support their instructional goals. They will leave with clear workflows, customizable prompts, and a plan for bringing these strategies back to their school communities.
**This is a live, in-person workshop offered as part of the 2026 Spring Professional Development Day. Session will be offered as an in-demand webinar following the in-person workshop.
The Byte-Sized AI Professional Development Series qualifies for a graduate credits at Northwest Nazarene University (NNU)! Participants must register and watch the entire Byte-Sized AI PD Series, submit the required assignment, and register for the course with NNU in order to be eligible to receive credit.
The Assignment: Participants must submit a model lesson or activity demonstrating their application of AI-supported instructional practices. This product will be shared in the EOREN lesson bank to benefit other educators.
