Agricultural Applications of Computer Science Funded by the National Science Foundation

Combine programming and agricultural tasks to prepare students for high-tech careers. This workshop is open to 6-12 educators and librarians. The NSF-funded Agricultural Applications of Computer Science (Ag-ACS) is a modular curriculum designed for educators who want to introduce basic, hands-on, problem-based electronics and programming challenges into their STEM engagements. No prior programming experience required.

Through a FREE 2-day workshop, gain fundamental computational thinking skills, learn to automate routine farm-based tasks, and create a wildlifetracking smartphone app. Participants will receive an Arduino electronics kit, and additional materials.
