2024 Regional Math Challenge Goals
To provide hands-on, math manipulatives for Eastern Oregon REN teachers to use with their students in order to increase K-12 student math comprehension and enthusiasm.
To provide asynchronous math professional development to educators spread across the Eastern Oregon REN region.
To use the REN website and video PD to launch a regional math challenge for students and teachers using tangrams.
To feature student thinking around a regional math project to promote regional pride, creativity, and enthusiasm for math.
