Reading, Writing, Thinking and Listening for Success Across the Content Areas in Grades 6-12!

Come learn to implement, sustain and celebrate writing in your secondary classroom! This workshop will be held in-person at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, OR. Space is limited, so sign up to reserve your spot today! Cost is free to Oregon Educators with preference given to educators currently working in Grant, Harney, Lake, Malheur, and Wallowa County school districts.

Session Content:

This workshop not only shows that incorporating carefully structured writing activities into your Content lessons actually increases understanding and achievement, but also proves how writing can save, not consume, valuable instructional time.

Participants will receive the following resources:

  • Writer’s Kit

  • Resource Binder

  • PDU / Graduate Credit

Target Audience: Secondary Classroom teachers from ALL Content Areas (Grades 6-12), Administrators, District leaders, Instructional coaches/ Team leaders, Special services educators, EL educators.
